I have been playing guitar for over 40 years and love covering my favorite artist’s songs. I do this in my spare time. I am doing full albums right now but might get into some singles. 80’s, 90’s and 00’s are my favorites! Click on the links below to hear the cover projects. I just want to play guitar to my favorite songs and entertain. I hope you enjoy them.
My method is quite simple. I take a song(s) from an album and through the use of AI, I remove the guitar tracks and split the tracks (drum. bass, vocals, etc). I then use a DAW software to load all the tracks except the guitar parts and re-record the guitar parts. I mix them to my liking to create the music track that I video record myself playing to an viola! Depending on the song, I may need to video record myself a few times to illustrate how my guitar parts are actually in the song. the Practice shed – Become What You Are Cover Project
This project to 3 months (April-June 2023). It was my inaugural project. I got a chance to learn the craft of covering parts of a song, removing the artists parts and inserting my re-recorded parts into the song and making a video through the use of technology. I am a musician and work in IT so it was pretty natural.
